The main celebrations for the Queens Platinum Jubilee will take place on the afternoon of Sunday 5 June.
There will be an afternoon tea at the Village Hall which will include a celebration cake and a toast to the Queen. The tea will be a complimentary event and all are extremely welcome. The event will be ticketed to ensure that the correct numbers are catered for.
Planning is also underway for window decorations and displays in Christ Church.
There are also plans for a tree planting ceremony on Saturday June 4 and a village scarecrow competition celebrating events from the past 70 years.
More details on timings and how to obtain free tickets for the tea will become available on this website and village posters.
